Booth2's new animated GIF feature is available on version 2.0.455 and higher and is a free update to all current Booth2 users. With this feature you can;
Allow the user to send an animated GIF to their email address
Allow the user to send an animated GIF to their phone by MMS
Upload an animated GIF to a Dropbox account
Save the animated GIF to a folder on your computer
To set up the Animated GIF feature start by choosing the delivery method such as Photo to Phone. In the properties window that opens check the box for Enable Animations and select Settings (Item 1 below). In the next window are options that vary the effect.
Template Options (Item 2 below)
Default: use one photo and one template per frame of animation
Repeat: use all templates for each photo
Distribute: divide templates evenly among photos
Each one will produce a slightly different effect. Try them out and see. In most cases the default will be fine.
Delay between frames - (Item 3 below) The default is .75 and should be great in most cases. Higher will be a slower frame rate and lower will be faster, experiment and see.
Templates - (Item 4 below) This is where the fun begins. You can go simple with a single template and just add text or a border but multiple templates create exciting effects. Think of each template as a frame in the animation.
Here are a couple free sample events to help get you started.
