Booth freezes after sitting unused

Booth freezes after sitting unused

Note - This was changed in version 1.5.248 released on 8/5/2014. You can now leave live view on indefinably for both Nikon and Canon SLRs with no software issues. You can download the latest version from here.

This can happen with SLR cameras if the live view is set to always on. SLR cameras were never intended to leave the live view on all of the time. After a few minutes the imaging sensor will over heat and the camera will power down to prevent damage to the camera. This is based on temperature not time so it can vary with camera and room temperature. The keep this from happening go to the Liveview tab and change "When to show liveview window" to "After a session has started". This way the liveview will cycle on and off with each session.
