The camera exposure settings are going to depend on the lighting environment you are in. If you are not familiar with exposure settings I would use "Program" and your camera should will evaluate the scene and apply the settings for you.

If you are new to the photo booth business you may not know anything about photography. There is no auto mode on any camera that can substitute for know how to set up your camera for your situation to produce the best results. Get to know your equipment including the camera.
