1. Camera – Displays the current camera detected
2. Battery - Displays the current battery status.
3. Camera Card Status – This option displays the space available if a memory card is detected
Photo settings (These setting apply to still images)
4. AE Mode – This option displays the current exposure mode selected on the camera mode dial. We recommend using only [P]Program or [M]Manual.
5. Av – When using the Manual exposure mode this option allows you to control you Aperture value. A small value allows more for light but shallower focus. We recommend starting at F8 when using studio lights.
6. Tv – When using the Manual exposure mode this option allows you to control your shutter speed. We recommend 1/125 when using studio strobes.
7. ISO – This option controls the light sensitivity of the camera sensor. This should be adjusted to a higher value if the images are too dark or lower if the images are too light.
8. Image Quality – This option controls the image resolution.
Other Settings
9. Save Images – This option allows you to save the images to the PC only or to the memory card as well
10. Transfer Video Recordings – This option allows you to transfer the images to the PC or leave them on the memory card. If you are using playback or any sharing options, you will want to transfer the images.
11. Exposure compensation – This option will allow you to adjust the exposure plus/minus when using the Program exposure mode. We recommend leaving this option at “0”.
12. Metering Mode - This option allows you to select from the different light metering modes available in your camera. Please refer to your camera user manual for info on these options.
13. White Balance - This option allows you to select the camera’s white balance. It is best to choose the option that best matches your lighting situation.
14. Color Temperature – This option allows you to set a custom color temperature based on the Kelvin scale. Select Custom in your White Balance option to use this option.
15. Picture Style - This option allows you to select from the different picture styles available in your camera.
16. Color Space – This option allows you to select your Image color space. We recommend leaving this option on sRGB.
Live View Settings (These setting apply to the live view only)
17. Evt AF Mode- This option allows you to select from the live focusing options. Please refer to your camera user manual to find which options are available to you.
18. White Balance - This option allows you to select the camera’s white balance for live view. It is best to choose the option that best matches your constant light lighting situation(not strobes).
19. Color Temperature This option allows you to set a custom color temperature for live view. Select Custom in your White Balance option to use this option.
20. Auto Focus Before Starting – This option will help ensure the live view is properly focused when the session starts.
21. Supports Video Recording – This displays whether your camera supports video recording.
Video Settings (These setting apply to video options only)
22. Allow videos to be emailed – This option allows videos to be emailed. This option should be set to yes if you plan on sharing videos through email. Make sure you have installed the ffmpeg utility.
23.Playback FrameRate - This option controls the playback speed it is used to adjust slow motion playback.
24. Video Av – When using the Manual exposure mode this option allows you to have a separate aperture value for video. This option is helpful when using a photo/video booth with studio strobes.
25. Video ISO When using the Manual exposure mode this option allows you to have a separate iso value for video. This option is helpful when using a photo/video booth with studio strobes.
Additional Options
26.Shutter Adjust Time – This option allows you to adjust the moment of capture to better sync with your countdown.
27. Refresh – Use this option to refresh your screen if the connected camera is not displayed.
28. Load Settings – This option allows you to load save camera settings.
29. Save Settings – This option allows you to save camera settings. Camera Settings are specific to the camera make and model.
30. Auto Restore – This option allows you to autoload specific saved camera settings when a specific camera is detected.
31. Manage Settings… This option allows you to remove saved camera settings.
