Operating System Requirements

Darkroom Hot Folder works best on Windows 10 operating system. You can use Windows 8 or 8.1 with an additional patch from Microsoft. Microsoft, as well as Darkroom Software, has dropped support for Windows 7. If you are using Windows 7, we recommend upgrading to Windows 10. Darkroom Hot Folder will not run on Windows RT or Window 10 in S-mode.
Darkroom Hot Folder is Windows software and there is no Mac version. Hot Folder will run in Boot Camp, but not in virtual environments (no Parallels or Fusion).
