Regarding August 2026 Update


  1. When will the switch happen?
    1. The official switch will take place on Tuesday, August 25 at 2:00 am Central time.
  2. What do I need to do?
    1. Not much, all events and images are synced with the old daily and your user/PW and API code are the same. Once the switch happens your applications will start posting to the new site automatically.
  3. I’m confused about the .us and .com. Which one do I use?
    1. During development and testing we used eventgallery.us. After the switch, the correct URL will be eventgallery.com as always.
  4. Can I use the new eventgallery.us now before the official switch?
    1. Yes, Darkroom’s software applications will continue to post to the old system until the switch when they will start posting to the new site. Until then you can log into the new site and get familiar with it, manually post and share.
  5. What about cost?
    1. We have added several new features and increased the included storage space but there is no increase in cost.
  6. What if I have a question or problem?
    1. We encourage you to log in and familiarize yourself with then new leading up to the switch. After the switch it is a good idea to do a test run before your next event to make sure all is working as expected. If you have any questions or issues email support@darkroomsoftware.com for help.
