Slideshow - Share Harvesting for Slideshow
With the release of Booth version 2.0.451 we have added share harvesting for use in the slideshow. Booth2 can use these images in a slides show. For example, the guests at an event like a wedding can email and use a specific hashtag and Booth2 can monitor that hashtag and "harvest" those images in seconds and add those into a slideshow either separately or mixed into a slideshow along with the booth images.
Here are ways Booth can retrieve those images for the slideshow.
Dropbox - you can share a folder in Dropbox and have Booth watch that folder to pull in images. In Global settings, Email and social medial section and add your Dropbox account then select Dropbox on the slideshow page to choose the folder to monitor. Images added to that folder will be added to the slideshow
Email - Booth can receive images by email and add those to a slideshow. Go to Global Settings, Email and social medial section and add your email account including the incoming server. After setting the option in the slideshow tab any images attached to an email to your email address will be added to the slideshow.
Text message - Booth can receive images sent by text using a Twillio number and add those to a slideshow. Go to Global Settings, Email and social medial section and add your Twillio account. After setting the option in the slideshow tab, images sent to the phone number on your Twillio account will be added to the slideshow.
You can also use harvesting with the composite slideshow feature to segment the screen and display the above in one specific area while the regular slideshow displays on another. For example, the screen can be set to 2 "channels" and harvested images displayed on channel 2 while booth images are on channel 1.
