Darkroom Booth works best on Windows 10 operating system.
You can use Windows 8 or 8.1 with an additional patch from Microsoft
Microsoft, as well as Darkroom Software, has
dropped support for Windows 7. If you are using Windows 7, we recommend
upgrading to Windows 10.
Darkroom Booth will not run on Windows RT or Window 10 in S-mode.
Booth is Windows software and there is no Mac version. Booth
will run in Boot Camp, but not in virtual environments (no Parallels or
Processor and RAM
We recommend a minimum of an i3 Intel processor with 4 GB of RAM. If you plan to using Darkroom Booth for video, boomerangs or green screen an I5 or higher processor is recommended.
We also recommend that you disable or remove any antivirus software other than Windows Defender while the booth is running. Antivirus software can interfere with the timing of capture and saving of images. You should also disable any power saving features, sleep or hibernation settings on both the camera and computer as well.
