System Requirements

Operating System
Darkroom Booth will run on Windows 10 and 11.
Microsoft has discontinued support of Windows 7 and 8, therefore Darkroom can no longer support these operating systems.
Booth is Windows software and there is no Mac version. Booth will run in Boot Camp on Intel based Macs, but not in virtual environments (no Parallels or Fusion).

Processor and RAM
We recommend a minimum of an i3 Intel processor with 4 GB of RAM. If you plan to using Darkroom Booth for video, boomerangs or green screen an I5 or higher processor is recommended.

Additional Requirements
We also recommend that you disable or remove any antivirus software other than Windows Defender while the booth is running. Antivirus software can interfere with the timing of capture and saving of images. You should also disable any power saving features, sleep or hibernation settings on both the camera and computer as well.
