We recommend using Windows 10 for Darkroom Core, Pro and Assembly.
Microsoft has discontinued support of Windows 7 and 8, therefore Darkroom can no longer support these operating systems.
Darkroom Core and Pro will run just fine on Windows 11 however, you may need to connect your computer to the internet more frequently than the normal 6 months due to changes in Windows 11.
We recommend an i3 Intel processor or higher with 4 GB of RAM or higher.
All of our Darkroom software is for Windows and there is no Mac version. On Intel based Mac computers, Darkroom will run with Windows in Boot Camp, and with a Hardware key in virtual environments (like Parallels or Fusion). Darkroom will not run on Mac computers with the new M1 CPU.
